As pet parents, we all love to include our pets in our holiday celebrations. Though each family celebrates differently, we are all familiar with holidays like Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Halloween – but did you know there are many pet holidays that we can celebrate together… with our pets… all year long? The list includes fun celebrations for you and your dog such as Doggie Date Night, Cinco de Meow Day and Spoil Your Dog Day, but it also includes plenty of events aimed at raising awareness of the more serious issues in the animal world like pet weight loss, animal pain awareness, and one of my favorites, dog training education.
